Power Workbench 2.0

We worked with a leading marketing and sales messaging, tools, and skills company that helps global B2B companies create more sales opportunities, win more deals and increase sales profitability by improving the conversations salespeople have with customers. We created Power Workbench 2.0, a next generation platform for the automated (a) creation, revision and version control of Conversation Roadmaps and (b) production and publication of all models, tools and educational content associated with the client's Power Positioning and Power Messaging practices. Workbench 2.0 is used to build, manage and update Whiteboards, and in Power Positioning workshops to create Conversation Roadmaps. Roadmaps can be round-tripped to and from Microsoft Word in support fo a hybrid online/offline collaboration process.

Whiteboard Presentation Management and Sales Force Enablement and Assessment

The client develops custom solutions for Global 2000 organizations that address the key challenges that impact sales effectiveness and performance, delivering a real-time learning experience based on the proven technique of white boarding, which ensures your field personnel will be able to tell your story to a C-level audience in a consistent, engaging and memorable way. Communicating effectively with this audience takes more than typical slide presentations, which can put distance between the sales representative and the audience. The system we created supports their service offerings, including modules for all aspects of creating, maintaining, and collaborating on whiteboard presentations, and also provides a unique toolset and framework for assessing and measuring sales force effectiveness.

Prospecting Productivity Management

The client is a leader in demand creation, having helped tens of thousands of sales people from hundreds of firms in nearly every market space get more first appointments with the right people. We created the only system entirely devoted to prospecting productivity and its related calendar-based follow-up model. This system is used by the largest high-technology companies in the world to improve their sales forces, including IBM, Computer Associates, Symantec, Microsoft, BEA, VMWare and others.

Supply Chain and Sales Forecasting

Created a supply chain and sales forecasting system for one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributor of custom blended raw plastics material. The company needed a way to automate and streamline a labor-intensive process involving lots of paper invoices, faxes and phone calls. We created a comprehensive SaaS solution that integrated with their existing accounting (Data Beacon, AS/400) and OLAP infrastructure, and provided a state-of-the art sales forecasting capability for their very unique product line. The application manages purchase orders, customer orders, inventory, shipping procedures and document workflow for all aspects of the business. The sales module combines known customer product preferences with sales forecasting to generate monthly sales pro forma documents and spreadsheets in support of about 25 salesmen. We also automated the entire back office of their $40MM global export distribution operation, and completed a data warehouse optimization project.


Ink-A-Note enables the sending of handwritten note cards by regular mail like thank you notes, follow up notes, and greetings from your computer. We created a desktop-based solution that allows the user the ability to create an Ink-A-Note while offline, using Outlook as a store-and-forward transport mechanism that sends completed requests to the back end server for final rendering and snail mail processing.

Appointment Scheduling and IT Projects

The client is a national leader with over 30 years of successful experience in offering telefunding (call center) and public awareness, having represented over 500 non-profit organizations. We created an appointment scheduling system, including a new interface for day-to-day operational work. We also completed a database optimization project and researched and planned their production analysis and process improvement project.
