System Components
The horizontal integration of the following components in a distributed, network-centric architecture allows for almost unlimited and inexpensive future
scalability. It also allows for the eventual replacement and/or addition of component parts as better techniques and technologies become
available.
It is important to realize that the architecture revolves around a particular business application, rather than around speech technologies themselves.
That is, rather than building speech-centric applications, this architecture speech-enables an application.
