| Business Applications on the Web |
More and more businesses are moving some or all of important business processes to the Web. These processes can be implemented in a way that ensures privacy,
even across the public Internet. When some kind of secure login is required to access these capabilities in a system, it is called an extranet.
Extranets can be used to share some of a company's information with suppliers, vendors, partners, customers or other businesses. Because it's Internet-based, it's available
anytime and anywhere. An extranet also provides the capability to integrate employees who may or may not reside in the same building, city or even country. Generally,
extranets centralize data, which can provide near-real-time information about business throughout the organization. In addition, extranets help form closer ties with
all those entities that have a relationship with the company.

The Intellection Group has developed a core framework that has been specifically designed for the creation and deployment of award-winning extranet business applications. Our architecture
allows us to horizontally integrate our framework with many other technologies, such as voice recognition, text-to-speech, EDI, RFID and natural language processing. We have
quite a bit of experience taking existing business processes and applications and transforming them into web-based business systems, greatly enhancing a company's competitive
position, customer service capabilities and vendor relationships, while reducing operational costs. The benefits of a centralized, always-available data store is alone
worth the price of admission.
